There's no excuse for having green armor in the 30+ bracket now.

Edit: The blue armor in that picture now costs credits, with a base cost of 5000. This means that it will cost less depending on how many stars you have. This changes things, it makes even easier for you to get this blue armor, so now that things are a little more complicated I'll change this to more of a "what would I do if I was a new player" advice type of post. But first, the most important thing for a new player now:

*** DO NOT BUY FLAIR *** ...until you have all of your gear

You can spend your money on one of two things early on:

a) Things that make you look a little cooler
b) Things that make you kick ass in real matches

Flair does not make you kick ass.

So anyway, if I were a new player I'd probably do things in this order right now:

1. Get a full set of blue armor, I'd start working on buying them right away even before I was level 20. (they cost credits now)
2. As soon as I had full blue armor I'd start buying blue mods for each of them.
3. Use tokens for primary weapons, things that I'd be using 90% of the time in every match (BFB, focus arm, IC, SMG, PT, etc). While saving up my money/mats for epic mods
4. After primary weapons are bought start working on epic armor with tokens.

You'd probably get some armor drops between steps 2-4, but it won't be worth it to equip that armor unless it has better stats than your current armor (nbb is not better than nr) AND until you put a mod on it.

They will be giving out free rare armor mods if you meet the following criteria:

  • You have a full set of rare or epic armor.
  • You have just entered the 30+ bracket.
  • It is your first and only character to reach the 30+ bracket.

Whisper me in game if you meet these requirements and wish to get your free mods.
