Players are having issues receiving Gift Requests from friends and Neighbors. Many players report that they see notifications that they have gifts, but when they open their ZSC, nothing is there.
The FarmVille 2 studio is aware of this issue and is working to resolve it.

Apparently this is a known issue last updated on 9/11. Currently I am not able to complete my second watering through, or clear rocks, as the builder request that I sent to my friends is not being credited.I sent the request to my friends, they accepted them, I accepted them from my in box, however they are not crediting and I cannot continue. When will we be receiving an update on this known issue????? If we cannot clear rocks, and build wells, trough's, etc how can we move on with the game???
